This Female Garage Pop quartet from Jersey are no strangers to the House of Vibes. After waxing a bevy of 45's, the girls have joined the CD revolution with "PAPPY'S CORN SQUEEZIN'", their first full-length album. It's a compilation of the many raunchy, Fender Reverb-drenched surf-pop workouts they have laid down at the House of Vibes, which let in just enough absurdity and humor to make it all fun. More recently, they utilized the new 16-track 2" tape machine at the HOV to record their new CD called "Enjoy the Ride" on Cargo Records, a project that took no more than 4 sessions! A new record for the House of Vibes, in more ways than one...
"Sit n' Spin started recording
at the House of Vibes in the early days when it was a wee 8 track studio
on 2nd St. (?) in Highland Park. We've been avid followers ever since. The
Reil brothers really care about listening to songs and getting the best
sounds for what the band is trying to create. They are top notch
engineers as well as talented producers. Working at the House of Vibes is
fun and comfortable and we've always gotten great results. We're planning
on going back there even after we get that major label multimillion dollar
recording budget!" -- HEIDI LIEB
